Let there be Joy!

Updated: Feb 14, 2023

We look forward with expectancy in the New Year to more opportunities to love well, to bring hope, and to endeavor to be peacemakers. During the past year, many have suffered unimaginable loss which has taken a toll on their families, their finances, their souls, and their well-being. Over the years, we have learned that even–or maybe especially-in the most dire of circumstances is when God shows Himself in unexpected and miraculous ways.

There is truly no life so broken, no sin so egregious, no soul so shattered, and no situation so hopeless that it cannot be redeemed by the love of God. There is no one and nothing that is beyond His reach. That is incredibly good news! How grateful we are for the love and grace of God in Jesus. We pray for the restoration of families in the coming year and for joy of the Lord instead of mourning. Happy New Year!

...But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. (Isaiah 35:9:10)
